QuoteraPro, a partnership registered in Ontario, Canada, is the data controller for personal information collected through the QuoteraPro service.

What we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login details) — to create and secure your account (contract).
• Business details (address, HST/GST and business numbers, licences) — to show on your quotes and invoices (contract).
• Client and job information you enter — to provide the service (contract).
• Text you send to our AI writing feature — to generate descriptions (contract).
• Usage, device and IP data — for security, fraud prevention and improving the product (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host and run the app, including AI processing.
• Square, our payment processor, for subscriptions, job-lead purchases and card payments.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active, and delete or anonymise it when no longer needed or when you ask us to delete your account, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can access and correct your information, withdraw consent, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Contact us at info@quoterapro.onmicrosoft.com to exercise these rights.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and per-account data isolation to protect your information.

Cookies

We only use essential storage needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
